Hong Kong International Airport (HKG)
The airport sits on Chek Lap Kok, next to Lantau Island, about 30–45 minutes from most hotels. Flights connect Hong Kong with hundreds of cities, including Bangkok (about 2.5 hours), Singapore (4 hours), Tokyo (4.5 hours) and direct long-haul routes to Europe, North America and Australia.
From the airport to your hotel
- Airport Express train: about 24 minutes to Hong Kong Station (Central) and 22 minutes to Kowloon Station, with free shuttle buses to many hotels
- Airport buses (routes starting with A): cheaper and slower, with stops near many hotels
- Taxis: red urban taxis go anywhere in the city; tunnel tolls and luggage are charged extra
- Private transfer: a driver waits with your name — the easiest option with children, lots of luggage or a late-night arrival
By train, bridge and ferry
High-speed trains from the West Kowloon Station connect Hong Kong with Shenzhen, Guangzhou and many other mainland cities. The Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge links the airport area with Macau and Zhuhai by shuttle bus, and fast ferries run to Macau from Sheung Wan and Tsim Sha Tsui.
By cruise ship
Cruise ships dock at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal in East Kowloon or Ocean Terminal in Tsim Sha Tsui. We can arrange private pickups from either terminal.
